Kopnov on the sideline of his visit to IRNA in Tehran on Monday, said that the Russian markets have been revolutionized.
Westerners and Europeans used to be Russia's major partners, he said, adding that Russia currently supplies nearly 70-80% of its needed goods from Caucasus, China, and other Asian countries.
He said that the trend after the imposition of sanctions on Russia is considered as natural, adding that this has created great opportunities for Iran and Russia.
Referring to the MIMS Automobility Moscow 2022 and 2023 attended by Iranian automobile companies, Kopnov said that Russian automobile manufacturers can also work with their counterparts in Iran.
Russia has good equipment, technical facilities, and production lines to this end, he added.
